We reached Kumortuli at Noon. Most of the Artists were taking a nap at that time. We were going slowly and searching photograph. In one workshop I found there is a blueish light coming from an overhead plastics used to prevent the idols under preparation. There were lot of idols and to make a good composition is bit difficult. I stayed there for a while and decided to take some selective view. I don\'t want to change the effect of light here. So I am uploading with the tone I have had originally.

About Kumortuli:Kumortuli (also spelt Kumartuli, or the archaic spelling Coomartolly) is a traditionally potters’ quarter in northern Kolkata (previously known as Calcutta), the capital of the east Indian state of West Bengal. By virtue of their artistic productions these potters have moved from obscurity to prominence. This Kolkata neighbourhood, not only supplies clay idols of Hindu gods and goddesses to Kolkata and its neighborhoods, but a number of idols are exported.
